Practical Suggestions

Hello, I really enjoyed reading and exploring your wiki page on Gay Men in Theatre. You did a great job on finding information, and providing many examples of countless men in theatre. One thing I might suggest is to add some pictures or images just to make your page more visually appealing to people reading. If you were to give an image of each of the men you talked about, it may be easier for people to relate to the text. Further, I would suggest looking at some more outside sources because I noticed many of your sources are from the Oprah interview. There is nothing wrong with using her as a source, but it might be helpful to gather some information from multiple different sources as to not be biased or one sided. That being said, I really enjoyed that you placed no bias or judgement on these men and their differing sexuality, and that you made it a point that many men in theatre are not gay or bisexual. Of course your page is specifically on gay men in theatre, but it might be a suggestion to incorporate somehow the percentages and facts or the large portion of men that are not gay in theatre. One last suggestion would just be to be careful with spelling and grammar, because I noticed a few small mistakes. Overall, I found your page extremely informative and well researched and written. Thanks.

Suggestion

Hi Spencer, You've got a really great topic for your wiki and some very interesting information! One thing I would suggest is that you try to tailor your information in a way that is consistent with the style of wikipedia pages. This unfortunately means that you probably don't want to say "I", because the purpose of a wiki page is to provide objective information. You also want to make sure that you don't have arguments or opinions in your wiki, as those kinds of things are better suited for essays. Note that our professor has suggested in an email that it "is not an essay, it is a wiki entry. Look at a few wikipedia entries if your are still unsure of the entry style." Just a suggestion! Good work so far :)
