Hello! What an important topic that definitely needs more discussion, thank you for writing about it. So far, your sections look really well organized and I look forward to reading your wiki article when it is complete. One suggestion to tie in this article into some of our earlier course work would be a section or a few sentences on how language used in Canadian media, education, by government, or in literature play a role in perpetuating Anti-Black and gendered racism. It may be outside the scope of your selected topic though, so it is only a suggestion. :) Thank you for your work!
Hi Shakti!
Thank you so much for your suggestions. I totally agree with you, and I wish that I had space in the word limit to discuss further how language used in Canadian media, education, by the government, or in literature play a role in perpetuating Anti-Black and gendered racism. Unfortunately, with all of the detail and context I had to provide in order to ensure the reader could have a basic understanding of Anti Black Gendered Racism this was not possible. Hopefully, someone else will see the page, and be able to expand on it!
