Projects

This projects is more mathematical, and can include a few different things:

First, try to analyse the simplified poker game called Kuhn poker. What is the game tree for this? What are the optimal strategies? What is the effect of adding another round to the game?

Solve the "big poker question" from Joel Friedman's Notes

Give an estimation of the size of the analysis required for a real (limit/no limit) Texas hold'em, and explain why this game isn't solved.

Here is a fun article about a mathematician (and even a topologist!) that is also a professional poker player.
