Your Electronic Thesis/Dissertation (ETD) Submission Checklist
The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies recommends you submit your thesis/dissertation a minimum of 3 - 5 business days before any deadline.
- □ Ensure your completed forms were submitted to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS) for UBCV students or your completed forms were submitted to the College of Graduate Studies (CoGS) for UBCO students.
- □ Register for cIRcle Login
- □ Contact the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies to activate your account for UBCV students or the College of Graduate Studies to activate your account for UBCO students
- □ Submit your ETD to cIRcle by following the instructions provided by G+PS or by CoGS. cIRcle also provides a step by step submission guide.
- Designated creative arts students (MFA & MMus only): Please follow this separate step by step submission guide.

What do I do if I need help submitting my thesis or dissertation?
All questions regarding electronic submission should be directed to Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS) at graduate.thesis@ubc.ca for UBCV students and the College of Graduate Studies at gradtheses.ok@ubc.ca for UBCO students. Please also see the thesis submission FAQ.
