Learning Commons talk:Chapman Learning Commons/APA Style Guide
Notes about this page
All sections are just other pages transcluded to this one. Journals is complete. All other example sections have only what was created for "The Basics" section on the APA page as of 21:25, 10 August 2010 (UTC).
For "Examples"
- Each example is its own page, ex. Online Newspaper Article: No Author
- Each example is then transcluded to another "section" page aggregating all relevant examples, ex. Journal Articles
- Each "section" page is then transcluded to this page
Each example uses the APA Citation template, except for examples that do not include a citation, such as Direct quotation in text (from a passage that spans two pages). See template for template documentation including usage.
The table of content uses the TOC Limit template in order to hide the display of lower level headers. See template for documentation notes including usage.
APA Style category does not need to be manually added. All examples using the APA Citation template will have the category and will be transcluded along with the example.
Documentation will need to be done on creating custom style guides.
Please contact Cynthia (UBC LSIT) if you have any questions through the talk page or by e-mail.
