Home Drive

UBC IT provides 20GB of online storage called Home Drive to all faculty and staff members, this storage is not available for students at this time.

Paid Storage

UBC IT provides virtual servers with attached storage for a yearly fee. Contact the learning centre if you would like more information or to place an order. We are able to assist in maintaining the virtual servers for you at no additional cost.

LFS Storage solutions

The learning centre has storage available for research groups and labs in LFS.

Data is mirrored nightly to a backup server.

OwnCloud

The Learning Centre offers a DropBox type synced storage called OwnCloud.

Students

No online storage is available to undergraduate students.

Graduate students need to put in a request for online storage.
