Co-ops and Work Learns, you must report your hours in Workday in order to get paid.

Log into Workday here.

If you cannot log in or enter hours into Workday, you must contact the EML Supervisor and EML Coordinator immediately. This may be a very straightforward issue to fix, so just let us know that you can't report your hours.

Do not report overtime, because it causes accounting problems.

What does this mean? For example, in the Winter terms, Work Learn students work for up to 10 hours a week. This means that if you accidentally work 11 hours in one week, rather than 10, you may report 11 hours worked, and you will be paid for 11 hours, but you should not work more than 9 hours the next week. Do not work more than 10 hours on two consecutive weeks. Work Learn positions have a maximum number of hours you may work during the term.

If you need to work more than your allotted time per week, tell the EML Supervisor immediately.

If you are unsure if you are being paid correctly, tell the EML Supervisor immediately.

Q: I can't submit my hours! I'm locked out!

A: Wait a day or two and try again. (What happened: you've missed the pay period lock out. Why does this happen? Technical reasons.)
