Record in the size of the video that you want to export VS Record in a big screen then crop

If I want a video output of 1280X720 (780p) , would it be better if I :

  1. Record the screen in Full Screen, and then crop the canvas to 1280x720 OR
  2. Record the screen in 1280X720 (780p)?

Which one do you think it will be a better practice?
