In the Language section of the app, entries are organized topically in 29 categories, including Phrases, Emotions, Food, Numbers, and more. In the Search section of the app, entries are listed below the search bar alphabetically by English. The search function is only operational by English.
When a user selects a category in the Language section of the app, they are presented with three options: Learn, Games, and Quizzes. In Learn, users are taken to the list of words where, upon clicking the English headword, they can see and hear the Lakota translation along with a related image. Users can also record themselves saying the word and play it back. In Games, users can select from Easy, Medium, and Hard matching games. In Quizzes, users can select from Listening, Speaking, and Reading quizzes, each with specific instructions.
