In a 2010-2011 Mix, Statistics 450 (John Petkau with Eugenia Yu) and Biology 363 (Agnes Lacombe) have created a UBC MIX shared term project where science students with research questions and newly generated data are paired with statistics students with advanced mathematical and analytical skills to produce a common report. This pairing involves approximately 50 students between the two courses.
