There are several major types of brain injuries.

Concussion

Concussion has been linked to many sports. Soccer, and specifically heading in soccer, are associated with concussion as well as sub-concussive impacts. Boxing, as well as ice hockey, specifically head contact injuries from these sports, also linked to concussion.
