Hi guys, I'm starting a new thread because the previous one started to get long and confusing @_@ I just found out the feedback from the prof and realized that it would be really helpful for everyone when we're doing our sections.

I'm sharing my feedback: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_yzGovRI1eXuiQg1ZdHMBynP_Nqkk9LV9H-0dM9MpkA/edit?usp=sharing

I'm trying to finish #3 before I sleep tonight. If not, I'll hopefully be able to finish it by tomorrow afternoon. Is #1/2 done? or are you still working on it?

Hope you guys have a great weekend :) Eden

Hey Eden I think we've still gotta work on all of them except #1 10 hours till its due! See you guys on the google doc.

NancyAttalla (talk)21:18, 24 January 2015

Whoa anyone surprised by the mark?

NancyAttalla (talk)04:39, 1 February 2015

Do we have feedback for it anywhere? I see the grade in the grades but I thought we'd get another breakdown with feedback?

MartaMroczek (talk)22:29, 1 February 2015

I emailed for possible feedback, letcha know if we do get some!

Hey Team!

Looks like we have similar answers to many of the questions, Yay. Do we want to assign questions to each person or perhaps go through each one together here?

Nancyyy

Hey Nancy nice to hear from you!

I think we should maybe go over them together then assign each question to each other, this way we will assign questions best suited for that person so that our whole answer is the best it can be.

What do you think of this idea?

Neil

NeilRayChaudhuri (talk)05:57, 18 January 2015

Hi everyone, I think we should go over everything together before we are assigned to a question because I find that some questions are related and must be discussed beforehand. For example, for Q4 (For each potential pathogen, what are the expected results from these tests), one needs information from Q1 (potential pathogens) and Q3 (Tests performed).

How should go through them though? Skype? or we could meet up if everyone is in Vancouver?

I look forward to meeting you all :) Eden

SulmiLee (talk)21:41, 19 January 2015

Hi Sulmi,

I'm open to both ideas for discussing the answers.

Neil

NeilRayChaudhuri (talk)00:21, 20 January 2015

If we do want to meet up, I can meet on Thursday after 12:30!! Otherwise We can discuss here.

Perhaps first we should go over number one and agree on what it could possibly be? I had bordetella and pneumonia, and it looks like we all agreed on Bordetella, whopping cough? What about the others?

NancyAttalla (talk)01:22, 21 January 2015

Hey Nancy,

I had Bordetella and pneumonia as well, I also put Q Fever or Coxiella burnetti as a potential pathogen since it has symptoms such as non-productive coughing and general fever as well, however it does have gastrointestinal symptoms as well, so I don't know if we want to put it as a potential pathogen. Another potential pathogen my be Psittacosis, I saw that the symptoms of this were quiet similar to Jules' however pneomonia is present in patients with this, but we can still use at as a potential pathogen. This being said, should question 1 then focus heavily on Bordetella because all the symptoms that Jules presents matches up with Bordetella, and the one symptom (clear lungs) seems to be the deciding factor. I was thinking we might have a large section on Bordetella and then have a small section on the other potential pathogens and explain why they may not be the best diagnosis for Jules' symptoms.

What do you guys think? Neil
