Hello, everyone, my name is Yuchuan, and you can call me Owen. We choose this topic to analyze because firstly, as a Chinese international student, I felt curious of my peers consuming habits in their daily life, a way to learn about them. Furthermore, we found that this research may have some relationship with the local luxury market, and the sustainability of the markets, we found that there were no people choose to analyze this before, so we are trying to figure out this and show our results to the students like us

I am Bryant, a student from Vantage college. This research means a lot for me, I really want to use this study to learn more about Chinese international students in North America. By the way, I am a Chinese international as well, so this study gives me the opportunity to learn more about our countrymen.

AIM

We are trying to analyze the Chinese International students’ consuming habits about the luxury goods in North America, and how it affected the local markets, and its relationships to the luxury markets sustainability. It especially, currently does not have any specific research target on Chinese international students' shopping habits regard to local business sustainability. Through international students' shopping habits on luxury goods, this might have a certain impact on the sustainable development of local luxury goods, which is not good for the local luxury goods market.

HYPOTHESIS

We aim to help the students who studied in Vantage College, to focused more on their consumption habit, and to know that their consumption habit is relevant to the luxury market sustainability, stimulate the luxury market economies.

PROCEDURES

During the 15 minutes interview, we will ask the participants the questions we mentioned above. Firstly, the participants will be asked to know the aim we set up the interview and the reason we do the research. Then we would provide the inform to them, to ensure that they would accept the requirements we offer, and let them sign on the paper to show they could help us to do this. After doing all these preparation, we would do the interview and record the responses of the participants. Finally, we would make the response we got to make them into a table, through comparing the table, we could get the final results.

Transcript analysis and conclusion

During the research, we found that The sustainability can be defined in many aspects, for example, our participants almost focused on the luxury goods itselves sustainability, such as the Jewelries, and maybe some valuable watches, this would still have valuable after many years, so they thought that these kinds of luxury goods are worse to buy. This is what we did not think a lot about it. And in addition, we recommend them what we think the sustainability referred to the sustainability to the luxury markets, because nowadays more and more Chinese International students who studied in North America, began to buy a lot of luxury goods in the local shopping centers, and they gradually became into the main group who consumed these, so it could be considered as their consumption habits would affect the development of the sustainability to the luxury markets, as the luxury goods, especially the clothes increased quickly. I think it is significant to let them know this, and this is our main goal.
