The selection to the plastic bags with the capability of the best tensile strength under the excessively physical conditions

Abstract

The research question of this study is to investigate which type of plastic bags we chosen has the best tensile strength under the excessively physical conditions due to the popularity of plastic bags in the modern society. As observed, the conclusion will be obtained from a straightforward experiment conducted by our design, which collected the data of the acid weight added to break the long piece of plastic bag. This result is going to connect the safety of consumers and the economy, and make the most appropriate choice among selected plastic bags to the market with a couple of other professional literatures

Biographies

Haipeng Xu&Zian Wang

Haipeng is currently a first year student at UBC and wishes to become a student in the department of mathematics. Haipeng likes to enjoy the sense of success after solving the difficult math problem. Haipeng is going to investigate the capability of the best tensile strength of plastic bag so that this can fulfill the curiosity of himself and develop the manual abilities through the Van 149 project.

Zian is an undergraduate student in the vantage one program of UBC, and expects to enroll in the department of geography. Zian likes to work out in a gym, and enjoys the feeling of being stronger. At present, Zian is devoting himself to studying the capability of plastic bags for his VANT 149 project, and wants to inspire the public to reduce the usage of plastic bags through his study. Finally, he wants to sharpen his skills of group work, research and presentation through this project.
