Preparation for Monday

Dear Course Design Intensive (CDI) December 2014 cohort,

Welcome to the CDI beginning… now! A note to thank you all for completing our comprehensive pre-survey. We will share your cohort's themes and responses to the pre-survey with you on Monday morning. For now, know that you are comprised of a diverse spectrum of Science, Arts, and Business faculties, and we welcome the opportunity to participate in this rich learning experience with you.

Some of you mentioned in the pre-survey that your courses are either online, blended, or that you have an interest in learning more about flexible approaches to classroom learning. To respond to your interests, we are taking a blended approach to your Course Design Intensive learning and asking you to complete 3 pre-course tasks by Monday morning. The 3 per-course tasks will take approximately 1 hour to complete and will directly effect your learning on Monday. To reflect the time we are asking you to take outside the classroom to complete these tasks, we will start half an hour later than the original schedule every morning (we will now start at 845am) as well as ending a half hour earlier on Friday afternoon (by 4pm).
