Course:Academic English Support Program/Diagnostic/Overview

From UBC Wiki

Overview

In the Diagnostic Module, you will prepare for your first meeting with your language coach by producing material which will maximize our ability to help you improve your Academic English language skills. This process will help you to reflect on your existing English language competencies in order to identify areas in which an individual learning plan can be developed by you and a language coach. This plan will be revisited and revised as you work through the Academic English Support Program. Please preview the content of this module before you start work on completing and compiling the material. You will schedule your first meeting with your Language Coach early on, but please consider how much time you will need to complete/compile as much as you can of the diagnostic material to prepare for this first meeting.
