Introduction

This controlled vocabulary was created by the University of Washington Information School Game Metadata Research (GAMER) Group and Seattle Interactive Media Museum, and is intended to be used alongside the Video Game Metadata Schema created by the same group. "Visual style" refers to "the predominant and recognizable visual appearance of a video game as originally intended by its creator, and/or determined in the context of creation."
