WorldImages contains approximately 80,000 images with broad relevance to a variety of different fields in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. All images are free to use for non-commercial purposes.

License

All images are licensed under the CC BY-NC 2.5 license. This license allows you to use the images for non-commercial purposes without seeking permission, provided that you attribute each image to its creator (WorldImages, Conditions of Use).

Searching, Downloading, & Embedding

Searching

1. From the left-hand navigation pane, you can either use the "Quick Search" box or select "Advanced Search" for more options.
2. On the "Advanced Search" page, you can select different search options at the bottom of the page, under "Other Search Options."

Downloading

1. Click on an image to view the full-size version and any accompanying information.
2. Right click the image and select "Save image as."

Embedding

No embedding option.
