x-o-x-o-x.com

x-o-x-o-x.com is a website created by artist Erik Hoff Rzepka. Not only is this website a platform for displaying artwork and research, but it is also a multidimensional work that embeds the overarching subject matter in the virtual space. x-o-x-o-x.com explores the concept of theory and navigation of the internet and how it is connected with locations, labels, and multimedia forms[1]. The site acts as a hub for viewers to access art and research as well as to make their own discoveries on the web.

x-o-x-o-x.com displays a simple black and white layout. A different line of text is shown under the title of the website each time the page is reloaded. The animation that plays at the bottom of the page says "ceriph scrawl and the fervid/amnesia of dahlias". The main function of the site are the links that run across the page under the title and tagline, which lead to information on the site, works and research separated by categories such as projects, collections, webworks, and printpdfs. It is also intended for the viewer to explore media outside of the site, so a wide range of external links related to the artist are categorized under locations and publinks. x-o-x-o-x.com serves as an entryway for people to discover what the internet can provide.
