Hi, thanks for using the wiki. I saw that you had renamed/moved the main sandbox page (which looked like it was done by mistake) and I just wanted to let you know that I changed it back. I also consolidated your project page and discussion pages. Your project page is now at Sandbox:DHYG400GroupC-Gallagher and clicking on the discussion tab at the top will bring you to the threads that you started. Please let me know if this makes sense and if I can clarify anything. The article at Help:Namespaces provides more information about how the UBC Wiki is organized.

Thank you for noticing this! Yes, I'm new to wiki and trying to get a page started for our group to all participate. Some are not able to enter onto this page or if they do, some can't contribute nor type and it says "not allowed" or something to that degree... any advice? Is the "Sandbox" the proper area for our group discussions and projects to be placed? Thank you!

Again problems... I can't seem to "upload" my file from word processor for the group to veiw.. I think its because its "too long".. can you suggest what to do in this case or what the problem might be? I've entered the right area, browsed and entered my file and then it keeps suggesting I change the description of the upload. Mine is 18 when it says it accepts 10?

Hi Karen,

The wiki only allows files that are 10 MB or less to be uploaded. Can you verify that your word doc is 18 MB? That seems pretty huge for a word file.

If your file is less that 10MB, it could also be a Microsoft Word corruption/compatibility issue. In that case, could you email the doc to us at wikisupport@exchange.ubc.ca so we could see if we could get it to upload from our end?

Thank you for your help but "YES" problems still, I've been able to download this file now as a Thumbnail attachement and now trying to post it in my discussions with my group but it won't "highlight" nor "take it" althought you can open it up in the "downloaded" files seen on that page. How can I attach it onto my discussion page so it opens?
