This was an interesting read and provides a different lens into the abortion issue in a place that is considered to be one of the most liberal in terms of abortion laws. My project was also about abortion and it was interesting to see how this complex issue plays out around the world. It has been around since ancient times and the fact that people still cannot come to an agreement about it show just how complex this issue is. A few points that are always important to consider are the ones that you mention even when abortion is legal within a state, there is a discrepancy in access for women of different class, geographical location, and other variables. It appears that there is a major movement to soften abortion restrictions around the world and it will be interesting to see how this issue progresses in the near future.
