Hi April. Your topic is very unique. It focuses narrowly on violence against transgender in the United States. A glimpse into what is perpetuating the violence against the transgender community would help your reader to make sense of your topic since you are trying your best to attract your reader's sympathy on the subject of violence against the trans community. Example, it is considered a big crime in Canada to psychologically and violently attack the LGBTQ community, and there are laws in place to deter any such attack. Is this the case in the United States? If not, why is this not the case? What is the motivating factor behind the aggression against the LGBTQ community in the US? A single line sentence to introduce these sentiments would go a long way in making sense of the aggression. Is it an institutional (the law, professional/medical labeling) problem? Religious problem? Or just ignorance (people just hating trans because it contradicts their binary gender). Medical practitioners once labeled transgenders as mentally ill people.

What do you think could be done to quell the violence against the community? You do not necessarily have to focus on everything I have mentioned above, They are simply suggestions.

Thanks for the feedback Grace! Your last suggestion is definitely something I'm planning on addressing in my 'Resources' section, but I see how elaborating on motivating factors behind the violence in the US can definitely help viewer conceptualize the issue. It's context I have through the research, but didn't realize I had't conveyed explicitly in my wiki.

Thanks again!
