Hi! My name is Zihan Xu and I am a second year student in Earth and Ocean Science.

I am an international student from China and I was born in a small city near Shanghai, where the Yangtze River flows into the China East Sea and creates an alluvial plain. I came to Victoria for high school several years ago. I have never lived far away from the ocean and I have always feel really connected to the nature space.

As for my study, I also plan to take the minors in urban studies and environmental sciences, and I really want to learn more (hopefully pursue a career) about regional planning and ecology in the future.
