Currently (2012 Fall), I'm a third-year PhD student at IAM (Institute of Applied Mathematics). My previous education is from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and I completed my M.Phil and Bachelor of Science both in Mathematics there.

Apart from mathematical research, I am interested in languages in general, both computer languages and human languages, and the study of the mind. I have engaged in math education since high school as a private tutor, and then a TA both in undergraduate courses and enrichment courses for motivated high-school talents in math while I was at CUHK.

My single most proud achievement recently is to father Stephanie.
