Hello, my name is Ryan Bakker and I am currently in the combined major Oceanography and Physics program, but am looking to switch into Mechanical Engineering. I have a strong passion for the ocean originating from time spent with my Grandpa from as young as two, where we would go out fishing in the rocky mountains of Alberta. I initially wanted to pursue a career in ocean floor surveying, and still do, but I am now doing a bachelor's in applied science and a minor in oceanography so that I can work in Aerospace engineering.
