About me

Hello! My name is Pepijn and I'm from Haarlem, a city close to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'm currently on exchange to UBC for one semester and I'm loving it so far! The city, the campus and the nature make for an amazing combination. At my home uni, I study Science, Business and Innovation. After doing a minor in Earth and Climate sciences, I wanted to learn more about ecosystems and sustainability. I am super curious what EOSC 270 has to offer and look forward to learning a lot. Besides school, I have worked as an ambassador for my home uni, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and as an assistant teacher at a high school. I also have experience working in Amsterdam's science museum NEMO as a guide, which was a lot of fun!
