WelcomeWelcome to my user page! I am enrolled in the Master of Educational Technology program. I've been editing on the English Wikipedia for a number of years and I greatly enjoy making regular contributions there. It is a genuinely awe-inspiring project when you realize that every word, image and video was created by volunteer users around the world working together. I also use MediaWiki servers in my schools with students. I have found it to be an outstanding tool to encourage and develop collaboration, literacy skills, IT skills, content development skills, critical thinking skills, and design skills. I believe that wikis are one of the most significant recent developments in information technology and I strongly advocate their use in schools. |
