Scale graphs

The x axis is not really referring to anything, I couldnt make wolfram alpha give me the graph I wanted so I just went with the ones it gave me. The only thing I talk about in my part is about the y-values so hopefully it is okay.

It has to mean something. I've been looking, the most reasonable explanation we can give is that it represents the largest amplitude of the seismic waves released in a earth snap (I don't recall the exact term for that). it also is possibly, 1.2 = 1.2 x 10^something. I still need to look closer. All this in order to explain how the Richter scale works on a logarithmic scale.

Well the x axis should be the level of the earthquake and then the y axis is the energy released but once again I couldnt make wolfram alpha do represent this correctly.

No, they are good enough. Only that they are both linear. However we ought to be able to work around that, and I'm currently doing exactly that. You are welcome to jump in after I've written out what I am going to write, to correct or do some minor edits. My personal goal is to make the contents flow beautifully. Or try to, :).
