If you choose to do so, consider looking into the eurocentric beauty ideals that motivate many plastic surgeries in Asia (eye lid surgery, skin whitening creams, etc.). It is a heavily debated issue, but also one that is very prevalent in many Asian countries.

On the flip side of your section of Issues with Medicalization of Beauty, you could consider exploring the flip side of the debate as well, and delving into some possible benefits. Obviously it is a very personal, and debateable topic, but analyzing the other side of the argument can be valuable.
