Great topic! I only have one suggestion. In order to provide some context, it would be nice to see some statistics on self-identifying LGBTQ people in Canada, in order to understand how many people this issue affects. In addition, some mention of other social locations that intersect with LGBT identification would help facilitate the discussion about intersectionality.
