Great topic, I was thinking of doing something similar actually. I think expanding on the health of sexual minorities will be very interesting and in my previous classes we have discussed it so there will be lots of literature on it. The LGBT community is discriminated against by medical staff and end up using the medical system less because of this. The discrimination they face both in and out of the medical system also leads them to higher rates of mental illness so not having access to proper medical care can be detrimental. I'm not sure if you're interested in this but the LGBT community gets greatly discriminated against within the parenting community as well, so I think adding that to your page would be a nice touch. With this, since you are doing discrimination within Canada, adding specifics as to which provinces the discrimination is the most severe and where the LGBT community is strongest, etc. would be a great addition.
