I totally agree with you about the standard of sexiness in the Western culture is very different to Asia. Most of the characters you see in Hollywood movies are humorous characters or computer geeks. However, I believe there is a positive change in the film and tv series production where Asian man is picking up more dominant roles. For example, Lee Byung-Hun is one of the main fighters in the movie G.I.Joe, and Ross Butler in the T.V series 13 Reasons Why was one of the lovers of Hanna Baker.
