As someone from an asian country, I can understand the significance of your topic. LGBTQ policies face a lot of challenges even in liberal western countries, so the challenges that advocates face in asian countries are daunting to say the least. But also understand that "asian countries" covers a very different cultures. While the problem exists in most asian countries, I would say that the root of the problem is very different. Maybe address which countries in specific you are talking about and I would like to see you explore how culture underlies the stigmatization of LGBTQ. I think it would also be helpful if you can outline strategies that you think will be effective in promoting pro-LGBTQ agenda in these countries.
