Not sure if you just haven't gotten to the citations yet but you will need to provide citations for each of the studies you reference. I would also avoid the use of the word 'whopping' in this context. You mention that Asian countries are more conservative than the rest of the world but then mention that heterosexuality is ok to express. Do you think heterosexuality is talked about less/expressed less in Asian than in North America? That might an interesting thing to look into as well.

Since it seems like you are looking at degree of acceptedness of LGBTQ in Asian countries in comparison to non-asian countries I think it would be helpful to have a paragraph on the history of LGBTQ in the US (for example).
