Role of family? Increase in the Syndrome due to services that deliver straight to your home?

I thought it was interesting to read about the dynamic between hikikomoris and their families. Would it be accurate to say that many rely on their families to survive? But then you also list one of the possible causes for the syndrome as tension with parents due to cram school. I think it would be interesting to see how those without a family network survive this life cycle? Or if there has been an increase due to services that make staying at home easier? Such as the various delivery services and the ability to perform freelance internetwork. Also, I thought the Jogging therapy was very interesting. Overall very interesting, thank you.
