The article covers a significant problem of compulsory sterilization, practiced in certain provinces of Canada. This problem is quite disturbing, as it highlights social and ethnical inequality and constant tension within the Canadian community. The recent stories of the women forced to undergo sterilization are outraging indeed, as they prove not only that women are still exposed to extreme forms of violence but also that there is continued discrimination against the most vulnerable minorities. The author of this article did an excellent job in bringing to light these important issues and completed the task of putting the material in the most comprehensible and straightforward way.
