I think it would be useful to define whether you are discussing either genetic engineering in food/plants or genetic engineering in humans (eugenics). Both are widely debated topics and have long histories associated with them so I think it would be useful to just pick one and focus on that. Each topic brings on a multitude of ethical issues and it would be good to elaborate on these issues and why they are important. It would also be interesting to look at where genetic engineering is going and the implications it has on our future.

Hi Lauren, Thank you very much for your feedback! You are correct in that genetic engineering in plants/animals as well as in humans are widely debated. I will clarify that I am focusing on human genetic engineering. (I have started editing my page to reflect your suggestions.) Also, I can tie in the possible future directions and implications in my page! Cheers!
