It is definitely a doubt for people who believe children should be raised by a pair of heterosexual parents. Interestingly, the CNS News has summarized a research by Dr.Mark Regnerus that children raised by homosexual parents are more likely to experience some of these negative outcomes: poor educational attainment, more often to attend counselling and therapy, unemployment as a young adult, etc. However, I believe being in the LGBT community should not hinder parents' decision to create a family, and Vancouver particularly is very supportive of diversity.
