Pope Innocent II

I am pleased to learn about this Catholic Pope. However, I wonder why his election as Catholic Pope was controversial. So far, he is the only pope whose election was shrouded in controversy. I was amazed by discovering that his first eight years as pope was full of struggle. Thank friend for the information.
