The pill
The pill is a form of contraception used by females. Ingested orally, the pill controls some female hormones to prevent fertility. Released in 1960 and developed by Margaret Sanger, Enovid (first released birth control pill) was approved by the FDA and began it's production for women all around the United States. The pill is now produced in variation by a multitude of companies, the main ones being Microgynon, Rigevidon, Cilest and Yasmin.
