Template:New Course Intro2
Thanks for starting a new course page! Some things to consider:
- Make sure that your page in the proper section of the Wiki.
- Please see Using the UBC Wiki For Course Work for additional help and tips.
Instructions for Using this Page
We've preloaded the start_tab template to help you format your new page. You can also watch the screencast here to learn how to edit the course page template.
- Using tabs on other pages: If you want to use the tab on other pages, click on the tab, copy the tab and paste it on other page. You might need to modify the link on the other page.
- Editing tabs: If you want to edit the Start tab, click on the start tab and press edit.
- tab-1(and tab-2,tab-3..etc.): means, it is the name of the tab.
- url-1(and url-1,url-2..etc): means a link to the tab. link-1. {{ROOTPAGENAME}} is just a code that shows the name of the root wiki page automatically. For example, if you set your course name is ARTH200, the link will show up as ARTH200.
- Deleting tabs: If you want to delete a tab, click on the start tab and press edit. For example, if you want to delete tab-4 "Past projects", within the edit screen:
- click on tab-4, and click the garbage bin button(Remove field) button to delete the tab.
- After you delete tab-4, make sure to delete link-4 fields, which is a field associated with the tab.
