Discrimination in the Canadian medical system is definitely an important topic to unpack as it affects everyone in the country. I like how you organized the different types of discrimination into race, gender, and SES. Since an institution like the medical system is so commonly believed to be objective, I would recommend including a few more real-life examples so that the reader gets a better understanding of how the medical system is indeed biased. It may also be interesting to discuss how these biases play out in both macro ways (medical policies, funding, etc) and micro ways (patient-doctor interactions, etc).

Wow! Very bold topic. I am super excited to see what you produce. As a Canadian, I feel as I have a very bias perspective when it comes to our medical system. Goodluck!
