Recall that capacitor equation states that

${\frac {dV}{dt}}=-{\frac {i}{C}}$

where the voltage across the capacitor is $V$, the capacitance is $C$, and that the constructive equation for inductors states

${\frac {dI}{dt}}=-{\frac {V}{L}}$

where $L$ is the inductance of the inductor.

Take careful notice of the direction of the currents $i_{1}$ and $i_{2}$. One of these currents is pointing in the direction of the voltage across the capacitor and the other is pointing in the opposite direction.
