Recall that capacitor equation states that

$\frac{dV}{dt}=-\frac{i}{C}$

where the voltage across the capacitor is $V$, the capacitance is $C$, and that the constructive equation for inductors states

$\frac{dI}{dt}=-\frac{V}{L}$

where $L$ is the inductance of the inductor.

Take careful notice of the direction of the currents $i_1$ and $i_2$. One of these currents is pointing in the direction of the voltage across the capacitor and the other is pointing in the opposite direction.
