Given a differentiable function $f(x)$, the linear approximation of $f(x)$ at the point $x=a$ is a function $L(x)=kx+m$ which passes through the point $(a,f(a))$ and has the same slope as $f$ at that point. Knowing this information, apply it to the function $f(x)=x^{1/3}$ with $a=8$.
