Matcha Yogurt

This simple yet delicious dessert uses only a few ingredients and can have many variations. If you can't think of a new way to use up that tub of plain yogurt in your fridge, try this recipe out as it balances the acidity of yogurt with the sweetness of honey and the earthy flavour of matcha.

Type: Dessert/Snack

Servings: 1

Recipe by: Zack Lee

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp. matcha powder
  • 1.5 tsp. honey
  • Optional: Fruit slices (apples/melons/berries)

Directions

Mix the matcha, honey and yogurt. Make sure that you don't leave any matcha clumps. Add in the fruit and mix well.

Notes

After numerous attempts, I finally concocted this snack with the right portion of ingredients. It's not too sweet or earthy that the other ingredients will overpower the fruits.

One of the most wonderful things about making your own food is that you can adjust according to your preferences. Feel free to share your own variations.
