The following sources will help you find information on your topic from interdisciplinary perspectives.

Databases and Indexes

To search across multiple subjects for articles, use the following databases and indexes.

Summon

  • Summon is the Library's most comprehensive search engine. Fast and powerful, it is a good starting point no matter what your topic. Use the centre box on the Library homepage labeled "General."

Academic Search Complete

  • A multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 4,600 peer-reviewed journals.

Communication & Mass Media Complete

  • A research and reference resource in the communication and mass media fields. Indexes and abstracts over 800 journals, and includes access to 500 full text journals.

Journals

The following academic journals focus on the study of video games and gaming. These journals may be useful in providing the most comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis video games.

Magazines

The following is a list of popular sources on video games that are available to your through the library. You may not be able to use them for your assignment but they will provide you with the most current issues on gaming in the industry.
