From UBC Wiki

Short Summary:

  • UBC Library is working with the Centre for Hip Health and Mobility on a pilot to develop a research data management and curation strategy. The goal is to complete a needs assessment for the Centre and work with partners across campus to expand the effort into a campus-wide service in the future.
  • UBC Library is working with the University of Alberta Libraries and the Simon Fraser University Libraries to establish preservation practices, replication and metadata standards for different kinds of research data of interest to our communities. This work builds on the UBC Library’s Digital Preservation implementation project.
  • UBC Library will participate in a working group from the Canadian Association of Research Libraries to facilitate the creation of a collaborative network to collect, preserve and provide access to valuable research data produced in Canada.
