Remember to try the following strategies when you are searching for books/ebooks in Summon and the UBC Library catalogue:

• Consider alternative words that can be used to describe your concept
• Combine concepts using OR to broaden your search, or AND to narrow your search.
• To search for a phrase, put your keywords inside quotations e.g. "climate change"
• Truncate terms to expand your search.

Remember: Copy down the title, location and call number of each book .
