Library:How to Cite Asian-Language Sources

From UBC Wiki

Introduction

This page offers MLA, APA, and Chicago style citation guidelines and presents specific citation requirements for Asian-language resources, including sources in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Persian and Punjabi. The purpose of these guides is to provide undergraduate and graduate students, who are conducting research using Asian-language resources, with clear instructions on how to cite and format Asian-language sources in both English and Asian-language research papers.

This project was made possible through the UBC Teaching and Learning Endowment Fund. The guides were created by graduate students under the direction of librarians at UBC Asian Library and in partnership with the departments of Asian Studies, History, Language and Literacy Education and the Institute of Asian Research.
