Access Information

Summary

The Law Library is generally very accessible and wheelchair-friendly. This is only a general overview of the Law Library's features; contact UBC's Centre for Accessibility for more information on the University's entire suite of access services.

Parking
Paid parking is available. Please visit UBC Parking for more information on disabled parking. Designated Parking is available at the Law Lot and on East Mall, behind Buchanan E.

Building and Library entrance
The library entrance is on Level 2. Level 2 of Allard Hall may be reached by elevator by the main entrance on the west side of the building. The building entrance/exit door has automatic doors using push-buttons.

Elevator
An elevator inside the library provides access between the 3 levels.

Library catalogue and computers
All library computers are at table-height.

Photocopiers
There are regular photocopiers on every level.

Bookstacks
Width between the stacks is standard.

Washrooms
Private and spacious unisex accessible washrooms are on all three levels of the library.
